Small-town lad,

My name is Aditya Shukla. I am an Indian he/him living in Uttarakhand. I was born in a small town and have lived in towns across India. Most of my friends speak different languages, and I have grown up enjoying their foods and festivals as my own.

I think I've always had an eye for visuals. That showed up in the stuff I did growing up — lettering, making car scrapbook magazines, drawing pencil portraits and designing my own Monopoly. But in retrospect, it wasn’t just because I loved visuals but because I loved creative pursuits. That’s why I totally love cooking, writing, history and linguistics too. Causatively, I also enjoy food, love reading and learning languages.

Oh and I also love to travel!

Oh and I also love to travel!

Erm. . . well, who doesn’t? Food, language and culture is why I travel. I also love to document my travels in photographs and notes. Let me know if you like these postcards by the way!

I rarely read books cover to cover. I like to cycle between multiple books from different genres. This helps me read more and cross-connect ideas easily. Below is my current set.
